It was nice to see some better weather and with it came some much better scores. Penney and Ron "the Warden" Levinski shine solo while Team Herbeson continues to roll!
In the (0-13) Flight it was Captain Ian Penney shining brightly with a stellar 34 to snag Low Gross, Ian's team, however, let their leader down by totally shitting the bed, tallying the second highest score of the week and laying a fat goose egg on the board. You can't win em all Ian.
It was League newcomer and 3rd round sensation Peter VanderValk along with 1st rounder Tim "don't call me Mr. Clean" Stewart carding sizzling 32's to capture Low Net.
In the (14+) Flight it was Ron "The Warden of the North" Levinski firing a scorching 38 to take down all comers for Low Gross. Ronnie says It was the full body hot oil massage that Brucie gave him before Thursday morning's round that propelled him to victory. Now that is a hands on Captain!
Taking Low Gross honours with a red hot 32 was none other than Dave " Toup " Broderick ( yes that is his real hair ). If you see Dave and he is NOT carrying two beers at once it means the keg must be empty. In other words, Dave is a great guy!
The Team Standings look somewhat upside down from last year... Team Alton in the cellar? Team HebeSAND holding down top spot?? It's early gentlemen so no need to hit the panic button just yet.
And finally, we are very pleased to announce we have added Dan Whipple as our league score keeper and statistician. Dan will handle scoring and handicap duties, as well as help run our parimutuel betting at our tournaments. Welcome aboard Whip!
